To enter a new contract in RamComm's database, simply follow the steps described below:
1) Go to 'Identifying' > 'Clients':
2) In the "Contracts" section, click on F2 to insert a new Contract:
3) To create a contract, you have to fill in the displayed form:
Here are some explanations regarding the different sections of the contract:
(Not all fields are mandatory so we'll focus on the main ones)
•Client: name of the client to associate with the contract. You will choose from the list of clients you have created previously (see. chapter "How to create a Client")
•Contract: number allocated automatically when creating a new contract. Do not change it.
•Nickname: alternative name of your client (e.g. KIA MOTORS becomes KIA)
•Stipulation: date of creation of the contract, populated automatically.
•Author: name of the person who created the contract in the database.
•Customer: name of the client. You will have to choose from a list that you have created previously (see. chapter "How to create a Client")
•Invoicing Society: name of the company who will send the bill. Usually, it is the name of your radio.
•Category: type of product that is advertised. This field will be populated automatically when choosing the name of the customer.
•Sale Type: way the advertising space was sold (through a phone call? an e-mail...?). You will have to choose from a list that you can customize.
Click on F10 to validate.
Now that your contract has been created, you will need to schedule the spots for on-air broadcast and prepare the invoice.
