•Do a sound test and adjust the levels to prevent saturation. stay in the region of 0 using the vu-meters:
•To run the recording, click on "Record" 
•To put the recording on hold, click on "Pause" 
•Click once more on pause to start recording again.
•When your recording is right, click on, "Stop" 
In the right-hand side of the screen :
•Select the category of item you have just recorded (News, Music, Jingle, etc.).
•Enter the information concerning the item (title, etc.).
•Then, save it by clicking on "Save"

The item is now in the database and you can it find in the Browser section under the chosen category (News, Music, Jingle, etc.). Its status will be "Raw", represented by the following symbol :
