The "Lock duration" function is designed to lock the step duration (this function is available by a right click on an empty step only).
Example : if the step (event) is 5 seconds long, and you insert inside an audio file which is 10 seconds long, it will be possible to play 10 secondes but the duration in the playlist will remain 5 secondes.
