When importing several items, you have the option to ingest them into the database in only one single file. To do so:
1) Drag-and-drop several elements you want to import from right
2) Click on the Fusion button : 
3) The button turns green :

4) Register only the first item from the list. After the import, the file will be named as the 1st one and will be composed of all the other items from the list.
Here, the file will be named "Barry Jones Interview" but will be composed of all 3 files.
