A migration script is supplied with the installation package.

It is used to migrate installations from NewsLink v3 to MosGateway.

It can migrate system logs and the registry setting of the application.

 

The script does the following actions: 

•Unregister NewslinkV3 service.

•Install NMG.

•Remove NMG reg.

•Remove NMG conf files (C# and profiles).

•Rename NewslinkV3 registry.

•Move and rename NewslinkV3 conf file to NMG.

•Remove newslinkV3 event viewer log.

 

Newslink service must be stopped and uninstalled before doing the migration.

After migration, you must make sure that the old Newlink service is not in the services list.

A reboot might be necessary
