A time slot is a time span defined by a name, a start and end time and a period of yearly and weekly validity.

 

E.g.: A time slot called "Morning " is reserved in the program grid from 06h00 to 09h00 and is broadcast every day of the week except weekends from 11/6/05 to 31/8/06.

 

The slot contains a number of events represented by templates and their program steps which are broadcast one after the other at a set or variable time.
