•Click on the « Multitrack » tab.
•In the Browser, select the item to edit.
•Drag the item down, on the original track (upper part).
•Play your item

•Select the part that you want to keep thanks to the blue 
(represented the mark in) and the yellow 
(represented the mark out).
Once the blue and yellow are approximately positioned, you can readjust them.
To do so, go to the blue or the yellow, a double-arrow is displayed, then click and drag.
•Then, play between the blue and the yellow to ensure that the cuts are right. Use the following button:

•In the lower part of the Multitrack, select on which edited track you want to insert your cut, and place the playhead.
•Once you are sure that you cut is right, click on « cut » 
.
•You cut is inserted on the chosen edited track, where your playhead is.
•To do other cuts, redo the different steps, as explained above.
To select another item to insert into the current job, go back to the Browser and Drag & Drop the new item to the original track. The previous item will be automatically replaced without affecting the edit job.
