When you insert an item in the playlist, you can choose the lead-in mode by default.
To apply a specific lead-in modes, « cut » 
, « mix » 
or « manual » 
each time that you insert an item, click on the icon available at the left side of the screen. Each time that you click, you modify the lead-in mode.
