To place an end cut point, represented by the yellow and marking the end of your selection :
Place the reading head where you wish to place the yellow.
Click on the "End Cut Mark" icon: 
This manipulation is possible in the block/selection modes in order to constantly allow partial playback of the tracks. To make the blue and yellow lines disappear, right-click on the previous icon.
