The AIRPLAYLIST monitoring workflow is supported by three components:

•AIRPLAYLIST: If the monitoring is active and properly configured, AirPlaylist will send notifications to the monitoring service at each change. When an on-air is on air, AirPlaylist will send a status notification every second.

•AIRPLAYLIST Monitoring: Receives and stores notifications from AirPlaylist. This module can monitor multiple AirPlaylists. This component provides a JSON API (described in the next chapter), an HTML server, and a WEB SOCKET notification system that works via a subscription system.

•WEB Client : The web page exposed to the final client. The underlying Javascript subscribes to the notification server to be notified at each change (playlist content, item on air, position in the air ...).
