This service is aimed at giving Insider a playlist in order to monitor the on-air follow-up, by communicating with the database.
•Launch FederallService.exe (In the Insider Install Folder)
•Configure the access parameters to the database by clicking on the Interface database's button. Enter the DSN, the User name and the password.
•Configure the service by ticking the Insider Dialog box. Enter the web server IP address as well as the port in use, by default 9292. The service deals with a unicast type of communication.
Do not enter anything in the Port To Bind field.
•Install the service via the HCI's INSTALL button, then start Federall Service by simply clicking on the Start button.
The following messages must be displayed in the Service status' window :
Federall service is stopped
Start Federall Service...
RA8 Database connected successfully
Federall_Service : SuiviAntenne thread started
Federall service is started
Note : These parameters must correspond to those indicated in the global.asa file located in the Insider's root directory
Application("DataSrv")="10.10.10.10" > address of the workstation on which Federall Service is installed
Application("Port_DataSrv")="9292" > port in use
Session("OnAirOne")="AF337B83-6912-42FE-B6D4-023BDC595CB9" > channel being followed-up by default when launching the Playlist tab
Note : The service can be installed on another machine.
