Reception of Multicast messages messages

A multicast message is a message broadcasted to an address range regardless of the network configuration.

It is possible to limit the broadcast of such messages by limiting the TTL (Time to live).

This mode of broadcast allow to use more than one Service logger on different stations. This allows hot redundant mode.
