Once the Resources Collector has been launched, there are several options available for you :
The choice of the workstation location :
In order to prevent the user from having to travel to the machine concerned, it is possible to perform remote information retrieval.
To do this, simply indicate on the first screen that it is a remote machine (select "No"), then indicate the name or IP address of the machine.
Finally, click on "Ok" to validate.
Selection of Netia software to take into account
The software in this list are those found in the workstation's registry.
First of all, it is possible to select software programs, edited by Netia, for which you want to retrieve operating data. To do this, simply check the desired software and / or uncheck those who are not.
Modification of incident date :
In order for Resources Collector to retrieve the information that corresponds to an incident, it is necessary to indicate the date of the incident. To do this, simply indicate the date of the incident in the "Issue date" field.
Modification of incident time :
Similarly, it is also necessary to tell Resources Collector the time of the incident. And as for the date, just indicate the time of the incident in the field "Issue time".
Changing the time interval to process :
This interval corresponds to the time slot that Resources Collector will take into account when searching for information. By default, this interval is set to 30 minutes before the indicated incident time and 5 minutes later. However, it remains possible to modify this interval with a maximum limit of 120 minutes before and 120 minutes after.
Choosing the output zip file cutout :
It is possible to choose to split the generated ".zip" file into several small files so that, for example, it is easier to transfer the files obtained by mail.
To activate this option, simply check the box "Split Zip file" and indicate the maximum size that each file must do. This size must be between 1 and 8 MB.
