Introduction

The purpose of this document is to give an example of interfacing between MusicMaster and RadioAssist.

The exchanges between the software are based on files. There is another way to exchange data between them, Nexus for example, but this is not the purpose of this document.

It is based on a configuration of a Radio with 2 channels.

The interfacing consists of 3 basic functions:

- The Audio Interface

It is responsible for transmitting to MusicMaster, the actions made in RadioAssist on musical sounds. This avoids double entry and makes it possible to maintain homogeneity between the two systems. This synchronization is unidirectional and the master system remains RadioAssist.

- Playlist imports

They allow to introduce the musical programming calculated by MusicMaster in the playlist of RadioAssist.

- The reconciliation

It allows MusicMaster to take into account the actual broadcast in these calculations. A posteriori, after the broadcast, a list of sounds played from Netia broadcasters is exported to MusicMaster.
