The search box is a tool allowing you to fastly find an item from the database.
It is possibble to configure the keyboard shortcut opening the search box (here F12)
The search is done by typing on the keyboard, shown in red in the box.
It is possible to limit the typing to numbers.
It is also possible to configure :
- database fields shown in the result list
- column names
- type of search
- sorting order
- .....
Tick the box "Enable Searchbox" to enter the settings.
The search is done from the characters entered on the keyboard, displayed in red in the box.
Number of digits : The number of characters to be entered.
Numbers only : Single entry of digits.
Minimum number of digits : Enter at least X digits. Here 3.
Table : Table of the database being searched.
Criterion : Entering search criteria as an SQL query.
